2023 Canada Winter Games Selection Criteria Announcement
The Ski NS Board of Directors would like to announce the following selection criteria outline for the 2023 Canada Winter Games:
A total of seven female and seven male Ski Nova Scotia Alpine Athletes and two female and two male Ski Nova Scotia Para-Alpine athletes will be selected to represent Nova Scotia in the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island (https://www.2023canadagames.ca/).

Athletes in second year U14 and first year U16 for the 2021/22 season will be eligible to qualify for the 2023 Canada Winter Games – they must be in U16 the year of the competition.
Note: We will not be sending any over age athletes to this iteration of the Canada Winter Games. We wish to compete with the other provinces on a level playing field and to encourage athletes to pursue FIS racing opportunities following their graduation from U16.

It is the intent of the Board that Canada Games team members shall participate in all four Alpine events: Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G and Ski Cross.
