Ski NS Coach PD Conference - Saturday, October 5th, 2019
Coach PD ConferenceSki Nova Scotia is hosting a free Coach PD Day from 9am-1pm on Saturday, October 5th in the classroom of Soccer Nova Scotia - 210 Thomas Raddall Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 1K3.
All Alpine coaches are welcome and those who attend the full session will be eligible to receive 2 PD (Professional Development) points toward their NCCP transcript.

9:00am – Danielle Poulos, CSCA – Presentation: National Coaches Week, Free PD Opportunities from CSCA, CSCA Engagement Tour, Atlantic Coaching Conference and the CSCA Coach VIP Program - https://cscatlantic.ca/vip-coach-program-application (Alpine Coaches are encouraged to sign up for the VIP Coach Program right away!)
10:00am – Danielle Poulos, CSCA - Anxiety Reduction Techniques for Athletes, NCCP Module
11:30am-12:30pm – Lunch Break – A light lunch to be provided by Ski NS for all attendees
12:30pm – Alex Rodgers, Colchester East Hants Health Center – Presentation: Sport Nutrition for Alpine Ski Athletes
